Alternatively, you could set Jaiku to display items from your Twitter feed. If you do that, make sure you select the feed with only your tweets and not those of your entire friends list.
You can use twitku.com to post on both at the same time.
Or you have to add your twitter rss feed. But adding it only works 10% of the time, so it seems. Best chance is adding it when twitter isn't havening issues. Also Jaiku treats it as any other rss feed and won't be grabbing your twits as fast as you post them on twitter.
